“In Other Lifetimes…” [sea level sounds]

Released july 8th, 2022

Inspired by the story by Courtney Sender "In Other Lifetimes."

From Courtney: “In Other Lifetimes All I’ve Lost Comes Back to Me” is an ode to longing, loneliness, and the nearness yet impossible distance of other lives we might have lived. It is the title story in my forthcoming collection, and could be the title of every story in the book.

From TJ: When presented with many paths in life, we often try to make a decision based on which we feel is *right.* Though, as time goes one we realize that none were more right than the others, perhaps it was just the one we chose and our life rearranges around that decision.

We can get caught up in indecision or rather, decision paralysis. Something some of us know quite intimately. The music is a reminder to just pull back. Ease off. Rest. And lean in wherever that *in* is. For the goalpost moves and if you attempt to continue running to the next before stopping to admire the view from where you are, you'll never see the point of it all.

The soundscape gives you a sense of motion and movement slowly bobbing up and down around the spoken word, ushering you to get lost in the dreamlike state.
